He lived life on his terms and was committed in everything he ever did. There was nothing he couldn't do and he wasn't afraid of hard work. Dick was a strong American Patriot and loved his country.ĭick held membership in many organizations including the American Motorcyclist Association as a Life Member, the American Legion Post # 535 as a Life Member, the Amvets Post # 43 as a Life Member, the F&AM Masonic lodge #376 Bellville and was a 32"d degree Scottish Right Mason at the Valley of Canton, Shriners and a number of other organizations such as the Owls, Eagles and Elks. Having a strong commitment to the country and the military veterans who served he was a member of the American Legion Military burial detail for a number of years.

He served as a bus driver for Clearfork Schools and was a Richland County Sheriff deputy. Dick was an avid motorcyclist and rode bikes all across the United States as well as abroad in Germany, Austria, France, Italy, and Spain. Kuhn's Cyle earned many prestigious performance awards from Kawasaki while in business winning trips around the world and a tour of Kawasaki Heavy Industries in Japan. Dick also worked at Westinghouse in skilled trades and then management until the facility in Mansfield Ohio closed.ĭick was the oldest Kawasaki dealership in the state of Ohio and at one point had the second largest sales volume for Kawasaki in a 5 state region. He owned and operated Kuhn's Cycle for 20 years and Clearfork Radiator service for over 30 years. He was not much for idle time and always involved in some project being worked on, along with several overlapping business ventures throughout his life. Dick enlisted in the military and was an honorably discharged United States Marine. Growing up in the small town of Newville, Ohio Dick attended Butler School and was a member of the graduating class of 1956. He was born Octoin Mansfield, Ohio to the late George Jacob and Ethel Caroline (Keener) Kuhn. Richard Lee Kuhn, 84, passed away Tuesday evening, June 20th 2023 at Shelby Ohio Health hospital surrounded by his family.
